I haven't been scrapping in a while but got the urge today. So I popped on over to Scrap the Girls to check out what their September Challenge. It is a colour challenge, pink, green and orange. So I flicked through my photos, found a suitable one and whipped up this page for Caidin's month by month book.
Hope you enjoy xoxo

LO for Scrapbookit and a card

March already.. how time flies. My first LO for March is inspired by Scrapbookit's Feb/March Challenge.
You have to use
-a mask
-mist
-twine/string
-and their sketch

I used a Crafters Workshop template for my mask, the 6x6 mini bricks, and stamped it with versa color "grape".
I sprayed the page with Rangers Perfect Pearls "Grape Fizz" mist.
The banner I made myself for a swap using MME "Celebrate" twine.
And the sketch I flipped and moved around the elements, moving the twine to the top and replacing it with s paddle pop stick.
I have to do a shout out to Amanda Taylor for the Black and white chevron embellishments she made for a swap.
I made my title "DREAM" using a stencil and colouring it in with a navy Sharpie and then colouring over the top with a purple gel pen.
I've also popped on an Eye Candy Magic "star button".
Oh and the main page is from the Sugar and Spice "Chantilly" paper pack.
The other elements are randoms from my stash.

I also want to share with you a card my daughter helped me make. I saw the idea on Facebook.

Enjoy xoxo

Exciting announcement and playing catch up.

I'm playing a bit of catch up today as I've had no internet the last week. I hope you enjoy.

First I have some very exciting news...

I have been chosen as a guest designer over at ARTastic!!!!!! So very excited and honored to have been chosen!!!! Here is my interpretation of their February challenge, with a painting of an Aussie beach scene. It is an open criteria this month.

I used lots of little bits and pieces from my stash as well as a couple of swap items and upthe top a little Charms Creation rainbow lollipop.

Next up is my entry for Black with 2 February challenge. It is black + yellow + blue.

I used all paper scraps from my stash as well as some star buttons from Boyle "Scrappy Bizz" and some twine from MME.

Last up I have some cards to share. A valentines day card for my man and some xmas cards (I'm starting early this year) made drom a template from Dawn over a Scrap It TV.

"Plait" for Scrap for Help

A friend sent me an email challenge to complete this challenge for Scrap for Help. I had four days till it finished so I got stuck straight in and completed it last night. Thier January Challenge is to use string, create something, and have fun!!! I feel I have met all three requirements :-)

I used MME "The sweetest thing" Lavender "about me" Blooms paper as the backround peice. Also Prima Madeline Collection "Parterre" for the pattern peice behind the photo and "skyward" for the fussy cut butterflys. To meet the string requirement I used MME Indie Chic - Ginger "Relax" twine, not sure on the greeny/blue twine as it came in a auction pack I won. For the title I used Paper Pizazz - tag art letters (from 2002 collection lol). The row of flowers below the photo is from Inque Boutique - "Always in Bloom" Inqueboard. I covered it with a brown paper bag and inked the edges with Versa Colour "cocoa". The flower I made using the brown paper bag torn into circles and inked with the same ink. I used a yellowish tissue paper under the photo and glued it down to resemble washi tape. Also popped on some recycled corrigated cardboard.

I hope you enjoy xoxo

Bday pinwheel card

Hello fello scrappers,
I went to a scrappy night at a friends place last night and stamped up some shirts for presents and also managed to fit in a 1st birthday card. My friend is a Stampin up rep so I used all Stampin up products - paper, dies, brads, stamps and ink pens. Hope you enjoy as I'm quite happy with it. xoxo

My Angel (for ARTastic)

Hey hey I'm back!!!!! Had a big break over Christmas with going away and visitors but I'm back into it with a LO for ARTastic January Challenge. You had to use chalk and/or wings and I decided to do both :-)

The wings are off an old earring and the chalk is the starburst around the photo. I also chalked the edges of the whitw cardstock.

I used lots of different companies on this LO. The main paper a Prima 2011 line "Madeline Collection" - Parterre. I used MME "The Sweetest Thing" tiny word stickers and Kaiser Craft "Lilac Avenue" alphas for my title. The blue floser and butterfly pocket are from scrap swaps and the wand is an Eye Candy Magic "Shabby wand". The little purple flower is off a hair clip of my daughters. I love using found items :)

Ihope you enjoy xoxo
